What Is Skin Cycling - The 4 Day Plan For Glowing Skin
In a perfect world we would all have glowing skin like J.Lo. but the truth is, we are all human and we all have flaws. For me it's always been hyper pigmentation caused by the sun, dry skin and my forehead wrinkles (caused by my crazy facial expressions). Although I've never neglected skincare, it wasn't until I hit my thirties that I became diligent with my skincare routine.
It wasn't until recently that skin cycling became a huge trend due to a TikTok video from Dr, Whitney Bowe. Even though skin cycling might be new to most, the technique is not new. I have been doing this for years without knowing I was actually " skin cycling".
What is skin cycling?
Skin cycling is basically a name for a skincare routine that helps minimize the overuse of skincare products that have potent active ingredients, preventing you from damaging your skins barrier. TikToks version of skin cycling consists of exfoliation, a retinoid and then a recovery period. Those with rosacea, acne or any other skin condition should always consult with a dermatologist before using any active and potent ingredient on their face.
