Baked Mac & Cheese


The best mac and cheese recipe - Girl Meets 40 - Gina King



INGREDIENTS


1 lbs of cooked elbow macaroni noodles

1 stick of butter

2 slightly beaten eggs

1 cup of evaporated milk

15 oz of ricotta cheese

8 cups of shredded cheese ( set 2 cups of this aside)

Tony Chacheres Original Seasoning

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  • Place cooked / drained noodles back into a large pot with the stick of butter. Mix well to melt the butter

  • Add ricotta cheese and mix well

  • Add evaporated milk, slightly beaten egg and 4 cups of shredded cheese of your choice and mix well. I like using a mixed cheese.

  • Add salt or salty seasoning to your liking. I love using Tony Chacheres Original Seasoning. We use this seasoning on everything. It is amazing on vegetables and meat as well. A little goes a long way so, don't use too much.

  • Place mixture into large baking dish or 2 small ones

  • Sprinkle remaining cheese on top

  • Cover with tin foil

  • Bake for 35 min
