Biscuits & Gravy



INGREDIENTS


16 oz pork sausage roll. I like Jimmy Dean regular sausage.

1 can of biscuits. I just use Pilsburry.

3 tbsp flour

4 cups of milk

Salt and pepper



  • Make biscuits according to package while you make the gravy.

  • Cook sausage in medium size pot. Break up meat while cooking thoroughly.

  • Make sure the heat is at medium to low after you cook the meat.

  • Add in flour 1 tbsp at a time. You want to soak up the grease with the flour. You can add another tbsp if grease is not completely soaked up.

  • Slowly add in milk while stirring.

  • Turn up to medium heat while occasionally stirring gravy. As it heats up it will thicken.

  • Add salt and pepper to taste.


The longer it cooks. The thicker it will get. When it gets to the thickness you desire, remove from heat and serve with your favorite biscuits! Super easy and so good!

Note: You can add a little more milk to make more. No more than a cup though. It will thicken as it simmers and you stir it. This recipe is fool proof. It is hard to mess up. ENJOY!
