Fried Sausage & Potatoes

I like to make dinners quick and simple. You can modify this recipe any which way you'd like. You can add green peppers, red peppers, green beans etc............ The only reason I leave all that out is because I have some picky eaters in my house. You will notice in a lot of my recipes I use Tony Chacheres. It is one of our favorite seasonings. We add it to everything! Here is the quick and easy version of the recipe.

INGREDIENTS 5 large russet potatoes 1 pack of Hillshire Farm smoked beef sausage 1 medium sized onion Olive oil 2 tablespoons of butter Tony Chacheres original seasoning

  • Peel and cut up potatoes to whatever bite sized shape you prefer.

  • Dice onion

  • Cut sausage up into bite sized pieces.

  • On medium heat. Heat up skillet with olive oil in pan. I just eyeball it. Just enough so potatoes don't stick to it.

  • Add potatoes, sausage, and onion to skillet and stir every few min so potatoes don't burn. About half way into cooking. I like to add some butter and the Tony Chacheres seasoning. Cook until potatoes are tender.

ENJOY!
