Fried Sausage & Potatoes
I like to make dinners quick and simple. You can modify this recipe any which way you'd like. You can add green peppers, red peppers, green beans etc............ The only reason I leave all that out is because I have some picky eaters in my house.
You will notice in a lot of my recipes I use Tony Chacheres. It is one of our favorite seasonings. We add it to everything! Here is the quick and easy version of the recipe.
INGREDIENTS
5 large russet potatoes
1 pack of Hillshire Farm smoked beef sausage
1 medium sized onion
Olive oil
2 tablespoons of butter
Tony Chacheres original seasoning
Peel and cut up potatoes to whatever bite sized shape you prefer.
Dice onion
Cut sausage up into bite sized pieces.
On medium heat. Heat up skillet with olive oil in pan. I just eyeball it. Just enough so potatoes don't stick to it.
Add potatoes, sausage, and onion to skillet and stir every few min so potatoes don't burn. About half way into cooking. I like to add some butter and the Tony Chacheres seasoning. Cook until potatoes are tender.
